Atharva College of Engineering, Malad, Mumbai presents E-Week 2014 under its Ember Cell. The event will held over the period of 7 days from 17th February, 2014 to 23rd February, 2014. The events happening in the E-Week are as follows:

Campus Events:

1. VENTURE-DE-CAPITAL

It is a team event. Each team will be provided with initial 50 rupees. They are asked to start their own small venture in a given budget and earn profit from their respective venture. At the end of the day they would return back the initial capital. From this they would learn how to organize and manage a venture of their own.

2. THE AMAZING RACE- 2.0

It is an amazing race to finish line. There will be a teams each consisting of 4 participants. Teams have to perform the given task in lowest time possible. Every task will test their innovative abilities along with their physical strength.

3. CORPORATE CHESS

It  is a team event. Each team will consist of 5 participants. The event is of playing chess but with many surprises. It will have twists and turns at every point. This event will test their strategy and ability to think before making a move.

4. LAST MAN STANDING

This game consist of 3 levels. Initially we start with  group discussion and interviews. 20 people will be selected for further task. There will be immunity and points task. Finally eliminations and vote outs would be done and this will decide the Last Man Standing. The task would test individual’s ability, decision making and pressure handling qualities. Also physical and mental strength with team work and leadership.

5. MEGAPOLIS

It is a team event with 2 players in each team. The teams will be given a landspace to setup their own empire. Players have to continuously grow their empire according to each level condition in order to generate maximum profit. Stipulated profit must be earned in fix time to level up in the game. The most successful business tycoon with maximum profit and resource will be the winner.

6. RAAJNEETI

It is a team event. The team consist of 5 members among whom there will be a party leader! Group discussions and interview rounds will be conducted amongst the party leaders. The team has to perform social events within the college premises and post it on a facebook page given to them .The winner will be decided based on the number of likes on the facebook page.

7. ATHARVA STOCK EXCHANGE

It is a basic Stock exchange event based on the running businesses of the event venture-d-capitalist. The business which is running in a larger profit will have higher value of its stock.

8. ATHARVA PREMIER LEAGUE

Participants in this event will act as a owner of a cricket team. Participants will be given a budget to build their own cricket team. The team will consist of 5 batsman and 5 bowlers.

9. BOX CRICKET

A box cricket contest. Team of 5 to register for the event.

10. ART GALLERY

This event is for showcasing your own talent. Any artistic talent that the participants want to display commercialize they can!!!

11. RINK FOOTBALL

It is a football event consisting of 5 players per team. The rules are as per the football rules.

12. TECHNICAL PAPER PRESENTATION:

The students can showcase their technical papers which will b judged by the reputed faculties. The best technical paper will be the winner.

 

Socio-preneurship events:

1. FLASH MOB: Our team has decided to perform a flash mob in about 5 or more different malls of Mumbai simultaneously on 23rd February 2014 . The theme is "Raise Your Voice” against Smoking"!! 

2. SEWA: Serving Economically Weaker Alike (SEWA) is an organization which behaves like a link between the Donor’s and the needy.

3. EMBER BAZAAR: An entrepreneurship rally has been organized on 22nd February 2014.Along with the rally we will sell some products.
